About the Artist:

Raised on the Canadian prairies, Holly Lafont grew up with a deep awareness of the wonder and design in creation. Her life’s journey with her husband, Roger, has taken them around the world. Living in and traveling through diverse cultures and landscapes has continued to shape her artistic voice. These experiences, paired with a lifelong sensitivity to beauty and light, influence how she sees the world and how she reflects that in her artwork.
Holly's art reflects the emotions evoked by nature, people, and wildlife. Whether capturing a glowing landscape, an untamed creature or the enigmatic eloquence of a human face, she seeks to reveal something beyond the visible—a sense of peace, presence, or wonder waiting to be noticed.
Her paintings have been exhibited across Western Canada and are held in private collections around the world. She is also a commissioned portrait artist, known for capturing not just likeness but the inner light and character of her subjects.
For Holly, painting is an act of reflection and offering - one that invites others to slow down, look more deeply, and find meaning in what often goes unseen.
